Running my first 5k

I ran my first 5k on Saturday with my workout partner, and great friend Deana, we both kicked butt, and both got 1st place in our age groups....

Tonight we grilled out for dinner so we could eat at our new picnic table in our backyard...It was really fun, then afterwords we had a fire and made some smores, we were watching Riley to make sure she didnt go to close to the fire, but she walked around and touched the outside of the bbq, which was still hot as hell, so she burned her thumb and her wrist, she is ok...but it was really sad!

This is by far the biggest spider I have ever seen in my life that wasnt in a cage of any kind...we found it in the garage today and I was about to move out of our house... this pic doesnt even show how big it was, but its really nasty that I live with these damn spiders ...It was all furry, and huge...I wish Sejay could have seen it for real, you would have shit...

Sheldon has already flown out of Afghanistan yesterday, but he is stuck in Kirghistan until Friday, so he wont actually be home until this Saturday....We are so excited to see him...

Just so everyone knows Sheldon is flying out of Afganistan on this coming Tuesday, Aug 4th, he said that he will actually be home on Aug 6th or 7th...We are so excited, its been way too long since our family has been together. The girls have been working on welcome home signs all week, and they are just dying to see him...It will be a very special day for our family.
