Jersey had 9 puppies!!!
Well I had an experience I never thought I would. I got to see Jersey in Labor! Very very interesting! We had 6 puppies, and thought we were done, but woke up to 9 total! Each pup comes in its individual sack, Jersey would lick it out of the sack, (which is alot of work, its pretty thick) and then bite the umbilical cord off to un-attach them. I was totally amazed and grossed out all at once! It's so crazy that she knows how to do all this naturally! Here we have doctors and books to prepare ourselves and animals just know what to do! All the pups lived and are all doing great! Jersey is beat!
